The Group looks at all aspects of history i.e. local, national and international. It also looks at any time period of history.

Next Meeting is August 13th @ 10.15am

Venue : Former Bowling Green Clubhouse on Castle Green - Hereford.

Steve will lead a discussion about Agent Sonya (she is probably the most successful spies and spy handler of the 20th Century, despite living a life as an ordinary housewife to the outside world).

Past subjects discussed have included: The Titanic, the Balfour Declaration of 1917, Henry II, the Assisted Passage Scheme to Australia 1945-1973, the Tudor Monarchs, a Guided Tour of Rotherwas Munitions Site and Historical Developments in Tintern.

The History Group have had two group outings recently to study Hereford Canals and Hellens Manor near Much Marcle.

Some months there are external visits instead of group led discussions.
