Thinking of joining? – Try our Taster Sessions
To attend a group Taster Session (including the monthly talks at the Kindle Centre), a £3 fee applies.
This amount will be deducted from your membership fee if you choose to join afterwards.
We would love for you to explore what our groups have to offer.
Before attending a Group Taster Session, please keep the following in mind:
- Some groups are fully subscribed, therefore no vacancy, so availability for a Taster Sessions may be limited to certain groups.
- If the group meets in someone’s home, the Group Leader will confirm whether a Taster Session can be arranged or not.
- For groups meeting at external venues, the Group Leader will advise if space is available. If accepted, please note that you participate at your own risk.
- You can try up to three groups, with each session paid for individually (3x£3).
Important: You must provide your name and contact details to the Group Leader before attending any Taster Session.
Non-members can also attend the monthly talks/meetings at The Kindle Centre for £3 each month for up to 3 monthly sessions. The cost would also be deducted from your membership fee.
Cotswold Link Member
The Cotswold Link Area covers Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and Gloucestershire.
Any member of a Cotswold Link Area branch can join one of Hereford & District u3a’s groups free of charge for the year upon proof of membership.
The Group Leader must be contacted beforehand by the member. It is the Group Leader's decision whether to accept the member in their group.
Any member of a Cotswold Link Area branch can attend our monthly meetings [currently held at the Kindle Centre] for a reduced fee of £2 upon proof of membership.
Other u3a Members
Any member of a non-Cotswold Link Area branch can join one of Hereford & District u3a’s
Groups free of charge upon proof of membership. for a maximum of three sessions.
The Group Leader must be contacted beforehand by the member. It is the Group Leader's decision whether to accept the member in their group.
Only three sessions may be attended after which membership of our u3a is required.
Fees will be reimbursed if joining is before 30th November.
There is a reduced fee of £2 for attendance at our monthly meetings [currently held at the Kindle Centre] on proof of membership.
Note: Participation in any Group is subject to numbers of vacancies as determined by the Group Leader
